Despite their novelty, these glasses are practical and pleasant to use. They have the same pro's and con's as most double-walled glasses: they are fragile, but great at keeping a drink cold.Pros:-The double wall turns the glass into a thermos. Beer stays cold after 30 - 60 minutes out in warm weather, something that has to be experienced to be believed. This alone makes it my go-to glass when enjoying a beer.-It's easy to pour beer in without much head developing. This may be an unintentional side effect of the internal shape of the glass. Unlike a normal glass with a wide bottom, the beer doesn't slosh around too much when it hits the bottom. (Note: according to another review, the beer touches a frosted area inside the glass that causes rapid loss of carbonation. With the set that I purchased, this is not the case. The frosted area is on the inside-reverse, so that the glass that touches the beer is smooth.)-The contour of the glass fits the lip nicely. It's hard to describe in words, but it surprisingly is pleasant to drink from.Cons:-The glass is thin and brittle. I haven't broken any yet, but it's clear that you have to handle these glasses delicately.-The thin tapered shape at the bottom of the glass makes it hard to hand-wash.

Our home brewing gift recipient loved the function of these glasses. Meant to reduce or eliminate the heat from your hand from warming the beer. Loved it!

These glasses seem to be a great product, but they are just too fragile. The first one broke with its first use, and the second one broke after its second use. We hadn't even put them in the dishwasher yet, but they still managed to crack and eventually break. I suggest finding a more durable product.
