Product was not wood, as other comment stated, but was cast plastic painted brown. I dropped it after it's first use, and it broke in half. I realize that this was my fault, but I honestly thought that a three foot fall from my hand wouldn't be enough to totally ruin it. Plastic is brittle. I am disappoint.

I love tiki stuff. Got this for my anniversary. The two wings (points at the top) were broken. I would like to think this happened in shipping but since only one of them was in the package it means that someone shipped it like that. Shame on the Amazon for having employees like this. I won't send it back since I'm likely to get more of the same. Instead I will paint the exposed poly-resin and have fun with it anyway.
