I spent the few more dollars to get this supposedly official, real "Pulltex" version, and it arrived in packaging that said nothing about Pulltex, had some other label slapped on over the original packaging but some other name on it....it could have been made anywhere. So I would just buy the cheaper versions in the future. It doesn't seem like it is possible to find the real version on here anywhere. It will probably work fine, but I feel like I was duped by their advert.

The worm is not teflon coated. It is a decent corkscrew and I won't be afraid to lose it, but I was hoping for the real thing. This is made in China.

I purchased my two Pulltap's from Wine Reserve. They have the Registered Pulltap logo. They came in a Franmara carded packaging model#5100. Franmara is a manufacturer/Distributor that does not sell to the Public. It does not say Made in Spain on the packaging or at Franmara's website,but only on the #5100. I called the Franmara and they said it was definitely made in Spain and they need to fix that web page. It is their cheapest model. I had also voiced my concern with Wine Reserves and they got back to me quickly with the same answer. They were just as concerned because of how it was advertised as Original Made in Spain. Excellent Customer Service by the way. Anyway,it definitely is not made as well as the older ones or the next model up,and the foil cutter is about as effective as a popsicle stick. The rivets are sloppy,BUT it is still solid and pulls corks as smooth as silk. All considered and some people getting Knockoff with false advertising, I am satisfied with my Pulltap's purchase.
