I had been looking for a LONG time to get a decent corkscrew that was actually easy. Finally - this is it!! It is complete magic. It's a vertical tube, and you take the cap off an put it on the wine bottle and press and the foil comes off. Next, you put the tube over the bottle neck, hold the bottle with one hand, and press the button - uncorked!!!!! Then, press the other button, and the cork is ejected from the corkscrew. Love, love, love this corkscrew!

The electric HOUDINI corkscrew remover arrived in a timely fashion. The color and description are true to picture. It works.....but the machine is a bit on the thin side making the grip more difficult and it tends to "overscrew" to get cork out. Meaning that it has to go through cork completely to have enough grip to come up with the cork. This could be an issue if it leaves cork bits in the wine. So far so good. Perhaps it will be best to continue to use with better wines. Thanks for reading, The Bike Chaplain

This unit has a real problem with a lack of power. After following the instructions and charging overnight this model didn't have the power to remove the cork from the bottle. The corkscrew would auger in to the cork but when it was at its limit and about to move the cork, the motor pooped out.After complaining to Metrokane/Houdini I was told to return it to them along with the charger. That was a month ago and now the customer service agent that I was working with is refusing to return my emails.My assumption was that they would fix or replace my unit but that is obviously not the case. Now I'm out the price of the corkscrew and the price of the shipping back to them.Metrokane/Houdini has a bad product and even worse customer service!
