The Legacy Corkscrew was very nice and It was very attractive looking. It was purchased as a gift. The recipient was pleased with the gift. It was received in a timely manner and in perfect condition.

After having one of these years ago and loving it, I wanted another one. This one was very hard to operate and it got harder all the time. I thought it was the new kind of corks they were using. But then I couldn't even move the handle past 1/4 way. I contacted the seller through Amazon. They responded by sending out a new worm and another part. installing it was a puzzle, but I got it done. It now works very nicely. I think initially it was either not put togeter properly internally or the worm was bent to start with. I have to give the seller top ratings for customer service. I would have given a 5 star rating if it worked initially the way it does now.

I purchased this for my son-in-law and it does not work, I have a similar model made by Estate that works just fine. This Legacy model is junk.
