I bought one of these a while back and I love it. Yes, you do have to squeeze a decent amount to open it, and if you squeeze too hard you'll hit the bottle, but it just requires a little practice to do it the right amount. You can squeeze it just enough that the opener stays in place, or you can squeeze it with enough force that it flips around your thumb dramatically, carrying the bottle cap with the embedded magnet. Both ways are possible without hitting the bottle, if you're careful. It's also possible that you can squeeze hard enough to break the glass a little bit around the lip, so just be cautious. It's fun!

This looked so cool I had to have it. We use it at my cabin to open beers. It is definitely a learned skill to get this to work with one hand. Every guy who has tried it is impressed and thinks it's cool. Every time they grabbed another beer they asked "where is the Kebo?". My Kebo has it's own nail to hang on in my shed at the cabin. We sit around the fire and drink beers and try to master the one handed open. We have not had any problem with the beer foaming over. Overall this is just a lot of fun.

What on earth is the magic trick to using this thing in a way that doesn't cause the beer to foam over? The kebo knocking against the bottle causes it to foam up ... do I need to find a beer maker that seals their bottles less tightly?Great idea, great style, great materials... it's just too bad it causes a mess.P.S. I bought 3 of these, one for myself and two for gifts and now I don't even know if I should give them away.
