I received this corkscrew as a gift, after my old waiter's corkscrew gave up. I love the double hinged feature, and it has a nice feel in your hand. Not too heavy, not too light. The silver/stainless parts are nice and shiny (a big plus for me), without being TOO shiny. The wood and actual corkscrew part are of good quality also. After contacting the manufacturer, I also learned it was made in Spain (not in China, like many others).

A bit pricey for what it offers. I have a number of corkscrews and was looking for one that was a bit more high end, a bit nicer and more elegant than, say my OXO corkscrew (which works perfectly).Unfortunately, this is just OK, no one at a wine tasting will say "hey, really nice corkscrew". Further, it's "double action" method of opening a bottle seems a bit redundant and actually makes it more difficult to open the bottle than just using it as you would a typical corkscrew. Next time I'll just go for a nice Laguiole horn tip or something similar.
