The person, whom I gave this set of Stainless Steel Chrome Drink Chillers, loved the look of these items! And I also gave them a set of silver rimmed whiskey drinking glasses (like those seen on the TV series Mad Men) which looked really cool paired together with these chrome ice cubes! Not only do they look good but they actually work well, chilling the drink and looking quite modernistic at the same time!

These are very cool ice cubes! They work exactly as described and are really neat looking. You have to put them in the freezer for a solid 5 hours before they'll really do the job, but they work so well and are so much more convenient than ice cube trays that I would recommend them to anyone. I bought these as a gift for my roommate (he is a root beer aficionado) and he is stoked on them. He chills a glass mug in the freezer and then puts these in the mug with the root beer. The result is that the bottom of the mug becomes so cold that it starts to freeze the drink and then flakes of frozen root beer float up to the super-chilled top where you drink them. It is by far the best drinking experience I have ever had, if that makes sense.And if that doesn't do it for you, just know that everyone will be jealous of your ice cubes that are reflective and sink to the bottom of your glass, rather than inconveniencing your mouth when your trying to drink by getting in the way of your lips, like regular ice cubes do. Seriously, they're cool.
