I purchased this product as a gift for an employee and am happy with the quality. So far it does everything as stated. A few years ago I purchased an Estate series for myself at triple the price of this Allvino and do not notice a big difference except for the name and a tad better quality. Not much better at triple the price. Of course my employee has only had it for a month and only time will tell.Just make sure you have the handle placed all the way to the back to uncork because if you have it forward, you will get a face full of wine. Trust me on this. After you pull your cork from the bottle just return the handle to the back position and the cork will drop right out. If you want to re-cork your bottle then don't remove the cork from the unit. This time leave the handle in the forward position, clamp bottle then return to the back position. It's very easy to use.

Don't bother with this brand. I bought 3 for gifts. I couldn't even assemble 2 of them because the nuts and bolts were to short. So the company sent me 3 more to replace the ones I had purchased. This time, after only using them to uncork a couple of bottles, the corkscrew mechanism on the inside of the opener broke...on 2 of them!! Not sure how the 3rd one is working out. They were nothing but a nightmare!!! You are better off paying a little more for something more durable. I have one that's lasted me for 10 years!! They should last longer than a couple of times!!

I had been looking for a while but most corkscrews left me uninspired. When I saw this I ordered it. Have had it for months now. Love it! Definately recommend. Well made/machined parts. Certainly last my lifetime and probably my grandchildrens...
