I was not as pleased with this item as others for two reasons:1. The colors of the parrot were not as vibrant as they appear in the photo. The true colors are duller.2. The corkscrew itself is a very simple design mechanically. A more functional design is the Screwpull by Le Creuset (# WT-110), which has a ratchet-like mechanism that makes removing the cork a lot easier.My parrot has already flown the coop to ebay.

I like the multi-color version the most. Product dimensions are accurate. It's 5" long, 1" wide, and 1/2" thick.A bit pricey but you do get what you pay for... an excellent design corkscrew that was made with high-quality materials. However, I'd like to point out that the color dots are not as bright as shown on Amazon. In real life, the color dots look dull and has a rough texture because the dots are individual paint dots that are applied on top of one another.There's a small knife at the back of the head of the parrot that is very difficult to retrieve because it's tiny. It's not the most easy to use corkscrew I've ever owned, but what a beauty.

We received this as a gift and it has been in our drawer...we use it all the time. A friend wanted one, so we looked it up on amazon and wow! a bit pricey! but WORTH EVERY PENNY (especially since we didn't have to pay for it!) ours is green in color, but we are also purchasing this cool design.
