I don't know about you, but I don't really give much thought to my bottle opener. Its not a product I look forward to using (its usually the next part that I look forward to...), and its generally out of my mind until I need one. Therefore, I'm glad that the folks at oxo were diligent enough to spend time thinking about bottle openers, because this one definitely doesn't need a second thought. It is designed for one thing, and it does that extremely well.From opening bottles with paint keys (yes, painting and drinking go hand in hand) to using my fist to using a stupid belt buckle opener, I have never had a "pleasant" experience with a bottle opener. Usually, its just a barrier I need to get around. And that is what sets this opener apart- it just works. So, if you need a bottle opener, I can't imagine you'd find one that will perform the task better!
