Was given one as a gift several years ago. The screws don't last very long, tend to jam easily,and after a few uses, tend to get very hard to insert into the cork as the plastic coating wears quickly.I just put the replacement screw in and it was bent going into a cork. Very frustrating, I'll probablythrow this away, even though I'd like to repair it. I can open a cork faster with my old hand openerfrom my waiter days.

I was looking for a wine opener with metal parts like our old one that finally broke after 10 years This has more than most available these days. But the parts that are plastic are sticky. There is definitely a problem with the manufacturing. I hope they correct it but the one I bought is being returned.
