I seldom review items I've bought. But this time I felt the need to. I received the corkscrew with much enthusiasm. And it worked great the first couple of times. After that the worm managed to unscrew itself into a difficult cork. Finally I managed to get it out. Determined not to let that happen I cranked it back down into its shaft with a little epoxy on the end. That lasted one bottle's worth. The next time the worm came unscrewed yet again. To heck with it. Buy a better corkscrew next time.

While this product is cool looking, it is cheaply made. The "metal" head that is used for the bottle opener is made of soft plasticy aluminum material. The first bottle top I attempted to pry off left it severely bent. After carefully decapping 30-40 bottles, it finally broke off. Without the head the wine corkscrew is impossible to use, rendering it complete junk. Don't waste your time.
