Just purchased this Italian-made cork screw to pull wine bottle corks. It worked very well and I'm very satisified with it. I appreciate that there is an option to buying something made in a country other than a certain Asian country that seems to make everything. I wish they'd indicate on every Internet item where it is made. It'd make it easier for buyers to decide which item they'd buy when country of origin is important to them.

Difficult to make corkscrew stay straight in the cork. Enters at angle & breaks up the cork. Also, it's not as sturdy as expected. I've been opening wine bottles for many years with no problem, using the standard inexpensive corkscrew that everyone owns. Thought Italy might produce a better product than China. Wrong.
